titleOfInvention Bonding of magnetic material
abstract PURPOSE: To bond a magnetic material firmly and impart magnetic properties much higher than that obtainable in conventional bonding methods, by bonding the magnetic material to a stator by use of a magnetic powder-contg. epoxy resin adhesive. n CONSTITUTION: A magnetic material such as ferrite or magnet is bonded to a stator (yoke, stator or core) by use of an epoxy resin (e.g. rubber-modified epoxy resin) which contains magnetic substance in powder (e.g. iron or ferrite powder). The method imparts much higher magnetic properties than in conventional bonding methods and the stator which is susceptible to exceptionally great rotary external force, is bonded to magnetic material with a high adhesive strength. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
