NEW MATERIAL:The N-acetyl-β-D-glucosamine derivative of formula I (R 1 and R 2 are halogen or nitro). n EXAMPLE: 2-Chloro-4-nitrophenyl N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminide. n USE: A substrate for the reagent for the determination of the activity of N- acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase. Since the activity can be determined by a rate process without using a reaction termination agent, a large number of specimens can be determined in a short time at a high accuracy. n PREPARATION: The 1-chloro-1-deoxy-2,3,4,6-tetraacetyl-α-D-glucosamine of formula II is condensed with the phenol derivative of formula III, and a part of the acetyl group is eliminated by conventional method. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
