PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber useful for tire tread use, good in resistance balance with high processability and storage stability, by the reaction between a diene polymer having active alkali (alkaline earth) metal end, tin compound and another compound having specific bond group. n CONSTITUTION: (1)Either conjugated diene monomer or (2) the conjugated diene monomer and (3) an aromatic amino compound are polymerized in a hydrocarbon solvent using an alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal initiator to prepare an active diene polymer rubber having alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal end(s). The resultant rubber is made to react with (A) a tin compound of formula R a SnX b [R is alkyl, (cyclo)alkenyl or aromatic hydrocarbon; X is halogen, a is 0W2; b is 2W4] (e.g., methyl trichlorotin) and (B) another compound having in the molecule a bond of formula (M is O or S) (e.g., acetamide), thus obtaining the objective rubber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
