abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I {one of R 1 and R 2 are is H, and the other is hydroxy, or amino, or R 1 and R 2 are linked to form formula = N.NHR 4 [R 4 is benzoyl, p-toluenesulfonyl, or group shown by the formula II (R 3 is H, hydroxy, or lower alkanoyloxy)]}. n EXAMPLE: 7-(2-Dimethylaminoethyl)amino-9-(1-hydroxy)ethyl-6,9,11-trihydroxy-7,8, 9,10-tetrahydroxynaphthacene-5,12-dine. n USE: A carcinostatic agent.
