titleOfInvention Novel fluorine-containing polyaminoamide and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled amide useful for, e.g., ion exchange resins, acid acceptors and heavy metal ion adsorbents, by reacting a specified diamine with tetrafluorooxetane in a solvent. n CONSTITUTION: A diamine of formula I (wherein R is H or a monovalent organic group and A is a bivalent organic group or R and A together with an adjoining N may form a cyclic group) is reacted with 2,2,3,3- tetrafluorooxetane of formula II in a solvent (e.g., benzene) in the presence of a base or basic salt (e.g., NaOH or Na 2 CO 3 ) at room temperature to the reflux temperature of the solvent to obtain a fluorine-containing polyaminoamide comprising repeating units of formula III. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
