abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a crosslinked rubber product having comparable or higher physical properties than the product crosslinked with ethylene thiourea without causing the safety and hygienic problems inherent to the ethylene thiourea, by using an oxime compound or its derivative in combination with a dithiocarbamic acid derivative. n CONSTITUTION: Chloroprene rubber or a rubber blended with chloroprene rubber (the chloroprene content is 10W100%, preferably 70W100%) is crosslinked by using (A) an oxime compound or its derivative (containing one or more =C=NO- group in the molecule), preferably cyclohexanone oxime, benzoquinone dioxime, etc. in combination with (B) a dithiocarbamic acid derivative (e.g. tetramethylthiuram disulfide). The amount of the component A+B is 0.1W5pts.(wt.), especially 0.5W2pts. per 100pts. of the rubber. The addition of 0.1W3pts., especially 0.2W1pt. of sulfur is effective to improve the crosslinking density and to reduce the amount of the components A+B. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
