titleOfInvention Hypersensitive thermal recording paper
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a hypersensitive and highly preservative thermal recording paper by jointly using resorcinolmonobenzoate and ester-para-hydroxy-benzoate as a colorless or light colored leuco dyestuff. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive paper which is hypersensitive and has a superior quality can be obtained by jointly using resorcinol monobenzoate as a developer which develops leuco dyestuff when heated and ester-para-hydroxybenzoate as indicated by a general formula I (where R represents alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, memethylbenzyl and chlorobenzyl of C1-C7). Both resorcinol monobenzoate and ester-para-hydroxybenzoate are capable of developing a colorless or light colored lueko dyestuff respectively and independently.
