titleOfInvention Oxymethylene copolymer composition
abstract PURPOSE:The titled composition having extremely improved heat stability during molding with keeping balance of physical properties of oxymethylene copolymer of its own, obtained by blending oxymethylene copolymer with a three-component stabilizer consisting of an amine-substituted triazine, a phenol of steric hindrance, and a specific compound containing a metal. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. oxymethylene copolymer is blended with (A) 0.01- 7pts.wt. compound shown by the formula I [R1-R3 are H, halogen, OH, alkyl, (substituted)amine, etc., and at least one of them is (substituted) amino] or precondensate of the compound and formaldehyde, (B) 0.05-5pts.wt. compound such as triethylene glycol-bis-3-(3-(t)-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl) propionate shown by the formula II (R4 and R5 are alkyl; R6 is group shown by the formula III or formula IV), and (C) 0.004-5pts.wt. compound selected from hydroxide and inorganic salt of Na, K, Mg, Ca and Ba.
