titleOfInvention Bondable film forming material
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a bondable film forming material which can be stored in one pack, consisting mainly of a carboxyl group-contg. high-molecular material, an org. titanate and a specified benzoic acid derivative. n CONSTITUTION: A film forming material is mainly composed of carboxyl group- contg. high-molecular material (A), an org. titanate (B) and a benzoic acid derivative (C) of the formula (wherein n is 1W4; X is alkyl, alkoxyl, carboxyl, acylalkyl; R is alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, phenoxyalkyl, etc.). The high-molecular material (A) must contain carboxyl groups so that when the film forming material is used in a wetted state as dental backing material, dental bonding meterial, etc., it has sufficient adhesion and can be used under such wetted conditions. High-molecular materials wherein two carboxyl groups are bonded to each other and further two carboxyl groups are bonded to adjoining carbon atoms, are particularly effective. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
