NEW MATERIAL:The 3,3-dimethyl-1-hydroxyimino-2-butanone derivative of formula I (R 1 is H, Cl, CN, group of formula II or alkylthio; R 2 is H, N-substituted carbamoyl, alkylyl, alkoxycarbonyl or group of formula III). n USE: Insecticide useful for the control of short-winged rice grass hopper, German cockroach, flour booklice, housefly, planthopper, etc. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a nitrous acid ester with an ether solution of a pinacolone derivative and hydrogen chloride, and reacting the resultant hydroxyimino compound with an isocyanate, an acid chloride, a chloroformate, etc. in a solvent such as benzene, toluene, etc. in the presence of a base for 1Wseveral hours. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
