titleOfInvention | Enzyme immunomeasurement method |
abstract | PURPOSE:To enable measurement, by a chemiluminescence method, of the hydrogen peroxide formed by acting glucose oxidase to the glucose decomposed and formed by beta-D-galactosidase which is labelled enzyme. CONSTITUTION:The enzyme immunoreaction by beta-D-galactosidase in this measurement method is executed by bringing a specimen, i.e., a blood serum or plasma, into contact with a beta-D-galactosidase labelled antigen and antibody when, for example, the antigen is a low mol.wt. component and by using the 1st antibody and the 2nd antibody as an antibody when the antigen is a high mol.wt., respectively by the conventional method. Lactose and glucose oxidase are added to the beta-D-galactosidase labelled antigen combined with the antibody obtd. by the reaction to generate hydrogen peroxide in order to guide the same to a chemiluminescent system. The hydrogen peroxide generated in the above-mentioned way is quantitatively determined by the conventional hemiluminescence method. |
