abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition having excellent impact resistance, weatherability, mechanical strength, and molding characteristics, by incorporating an impact modifier and powdered vegetable fibers into a mixture of an ethylene-vinyl chloride copolymer resin and an ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride graft copolymer resin. n CONSTITUTION: 5W50pts.wt. impact modifier and 10W100pts.wt. powdered vegetable fibers are incorporated into 100pts.wt. mixture of an ethylene-vinyl chloride copolymer resin (A) made by copolymerizing 99.9W92.0wt% vinyl chloride with 0.1W8.0wt% copolymerizable ethylene monomer, and an ethylene-vinyl acetate- vinyl chloride graft copolymer resin (B) made by graft copolymerizing vinyl chloride with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 10W45wt% vinyl acetate.
