titleOfInvention Lipid microcapsule preparation containing medicament
abstract PURPOSE: The titled preparation that is produced by dispersing lipid microcapsules which are formed by mixing an aqueous solution or suspension with a phospholipid containing a lipophilic surfactant, at least one of which contains the medicament, in a dispersion medium, thus being increased in the medicament content with high stability. n CONSTITUTION: An aqueous solution or suspension and a phospholipid such as phosphatidyl choline containing a lipophilic surfactant such as polyoxyethylene sorbitol monooleate, at least one of which contains the medicament, are mixed with stirring and the resultant microcapsules are dispersed in a dispersion medium such as polyoxyethylene glycol to give the objective lipid microcapsule preparation containing medicament. When it is oily, the preparation can be formed into a solid one by freeze- or spray-drying. The resultant preparation can control the elution speed of the medicament and transferrence to tissues and can raise the content of the medicament higher than in the liposome preparations.
