titleOfInvention Cultivation of euglena
abstract PURPOSE: To make handling simple, to reduce culture cost, and to raise content of protein, by using glucose as a carbon source and an ammonium salt as a nitrogen source, making a specific ratio of C/N (atomic ratio) of them. n CONSTITUTION: A medium used consists of group A of carbohydrate, group B of ammonium ion source, group C of inorganic salt, group D of metal salt, and group E of vitamin. The group A of carbohydrate contains 7W20g/> monosaccharide trisaccharide (glucose, etc.), and the group B of ammonium ion source contains 0.09W5.5l/g NH 4 + . The group C of inorganic salt contains 0.02W 0.3g/l K + , 0.02W0.2g/l Mg 2+ , and 0.02W0.12g/l Ca 2+ /l, the group D of metal salt contains 1W9mg/lNa + , 1W10mg/l Fe 2+ , 3W19mg/l Mn 2+ , 0.2W12mg/l Zn 2+ , 0W0.7mg/ lMo 2+ , 0W0.8mg/l Cu 2+ , 0W0.4mg/l V 5+ , 0.1W0.3mg/l Co 2+ , 0W0.2mg/l B 3+ , and 0W0.2mg/l Ni 2+ , and the group E of vitamin contains 0.01W0.1mg/l B 1 , and 0.001W0.01mg/l B 12 . n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
