abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition having excellent storage stability and pigment dispersion quality, comprising a polymer with hydrolyzable silyl groups, a curing catalyst, pigment dispersions milled with a resin, and a solvent. n CONSTITUTION: The pigment dispersions (pigment loading: 1W95wt%) are prepared by milling the pigment with a resin (e.g., a vinyl polymer with hydrolyzable silyl groups, or an alkoxysilane-modified resin obtained by the reaction of a compound containing hydroxyl groups with a compound containing trialkoxysilyl groups). Then a polymer (A) containing one or more hydrolyzable silyl groups (e.g., a vinyl polymer containing 3W30% γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane unit), a curing catalyst (B) (e.g., dibutyltin diacetate), the pigment dispersions (C) above mentioned, and a solvent (D) (e.g., a hydrolyzable ester compound or an alkyl alcohol) are compounded. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
