abstract PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance adhesion between a base and a water-soluble polymer, by providing on the base an anchor coat layer comprising an aqueous copolymerized polyester, in a recording sheet provided with a film of a water- soluble polymer on a non-hygroscopic base. CONSTITUTION:The non-hygroscopic base is a film almost free of hygroscopic property in itself, preferably, a polyester film having excellent trasparency and mechanical strength. The anchor coat layer is provided by using as a main constituent an aqueous copolymerized polyester having adhesive properties to the non-hygroscopic base, particularly, the polyester film, and swelling poroperty in water, and using an ordinary coater.
