| abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the titled binder which has a high curing rate and gives a coating film having a smoothe surface, consisting of a specified unsaturated polyester resin and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer. n CONSTITUTION: An acid componebt (a) contg. 40W100mol% of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid is reacted with a glycol component (b) contg. 0.05W10mol% of a polyhydric alcohol contg. a sulfonate salt group obtd. by adding a bisulfite to an unsaturated polyhydric alcohol and optionally 0.02W40mol% of a polyhydric alcohol allyl ester. An acrylic monomer (c) and optionally an isocyanate compd. (d) are then added thereto.
