titleOfInvention | Aromatic polyester |
abstract | PURPOSE: A heat-resistant aromatic polyester which can be produced in an industrially advantageous manner, comprising tow specified kinds of structural units and having a specified reduced viscosity. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester comprising structural units of formula I (wherein R 1 R 14 are each H, a halogen, or the like) and structual units of formula II (wherein A is an oxygen atom, sulfur atom or the like, and R 15 WR 22 are each H or a halogen atom). In said polyester, the ratio of structural unit to structural unit IIis 95:5W5:95 by mole, and the reduced viscosity ηsp/C (determined at 30°C in a phenol/tetrachloroethane (1:1) mixture and a concentration of 1.0g/dl is 0.1dl/g. In formulas I and II, R 1 WR 14 are preferably each H, and R 15 WR 22 are each H, and in formula II, A is preferably an alkylidene group. This aromat ic polyester can be produced by any of interfacial, solution or melt polycondensation processes. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
