abstract PURPOSE: An antifouling agent for fishing net, preventing marine organisms from attaching themselves to it for a long period, containing a tetraalkylthiuram disulfide, a dialkyl polysulfide, and a specific organic compound having low toxicity as active ingredients. n CONSTITUTION: An antifouling agent containing one or more compounds selected from p-toluenesulfonamide, p-toluenethylsulfonamide, p-toluenesulfonyl chloride, methyl p-toluenesulfonate, 1, 2 bis(3-methoxycarbonyl-2-thioureido)benzene, etc., a tetraalkylthiuram disulfide shown by the formula I (R is alkyl), and one or more of compounds shown by the formula II (R' is alkyl; n is 1W5). The antifouling agent may be further blended with a natural resin for coating compound of ship, a resin component such as synthetic rubber, and, if necessary, a colorant, a plasticizer, etc. n EFFECT: Having low toxicity and a little fear of environmental pollurion. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
