titleOfInvention Novel polypeptide and its use
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The polypeptide of formula I (X is bond, or peptide or amino acid residue having 1W16 amino acids from the C-terminal of the peptide chain of formula II; Y is peptide or amino acid residue having 1W5 amino acids from the N-terminal of the peptide chain of formula III). n EXAMPLE: H-Lys-Arg-Lys-Arg-Ser-Gln-Met-Leu-Phe-Arg-Gly-Arg-Arg-Ala-Ser- Gln-OH. n USE: A novel monoclonal antibody can be prepared by bonding the peptide of formula I chemically with a carrier protein, cloning the obtained protein complex, and using the obtained hybridoma. The obtained monoclonal antiboxy can be used for the purification of human IFN-γ and for RIA-process. n PREPARATION: The objective peptide can be prepared by condensing (A) a raw material containing reactive carboxyl group and corresponding to a part of the polypeptide of formula I with (B) another raw material containing reactive amino group and corresponding to the remaining part of the polypeptide, by a peptide- synthesis method. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
