abstract | NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (Me is methyl). n USE: For the preparation of opiate having the property of opiate as well as that of ionophore, and having improved activity by preventing the change in the steric structure of the opiate receptor with sodium ion. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be prepared e.g. by (1) reacting thebaine of formula II with iron pentacarbonyl, (2) treating the obtained thebaine iron complex with boron tribromide, etc. to obtain a phenolic compound, (3) reacting the compound with tetraethylene glycol monotosylate in the presence of sodium hydride, etc., (4) tosylating after the treatment with p-toluenesulfonic acid, (5) reducibly opening the ether ring with zinc and acetic acid, etc., and (6) cyclizing the resultant phenolic compound of formula III (Ts is tosyl) with sodium hydride, etc. and treating with trimethylamine oxide, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
