titleOfInvention Polyester resin composition
abstract PURPOSE:To improve the impact resistance without reducing the hydrolysis resistance, by incorporating an acrylic rubber, an ester of pentaerythritol, and an epoxy compound into a thermoplastic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic polyester resin (A), an acrylic rubber or a diene graft copolymer (B) (e.g. a butadiene-methyl methacrylate graft copolymer), an ester of pentaerythritol (C) represented by the formula (where R is an alkyl of 5-30C; n is 1-4; m is 1-3), and an epoxy compound (D) (e.g. allyl glycidyl ether) are mixed together to give the titled polyester resin composition. The weight ratio of component A to component B is 99.5:0.5-40:60; the quantities of component C and component D each are 0.01-5wt% of the total of components A and B.
