titleOfInvention Herbicidal composition
abstract PURPOSE: A herbicidal composition that contains, as active ingredients, quinoxaline and a specific compound, thus showing synergic and econmical effect on a variety of weeds in smaller doses than those required on use alone without chemical injury to crop plants such as soybean. n CONSTITUTION: A quinoxaline of formula I (X is halogen; R is lower alkyl; n is 0W2), which is suitable for combatting true grass weeds in broad leaf crop plants, because it has specifically powerful herbicidal activity against true grass weeds, is combined with a compound of formula II, which show selectivity to broad leaf crop plants such as soybeans and good herbicidal effect against true grass and broad leaf weeds, to give the objective composition. The weight ratio of the quinoxaline to the compound of formula II is 1:(0.01W50). The resulting composition is preferably used in combination with a carrier or auxiliary agent for combatting weeds in rice water fields, crop fields, orchards, sport grounds, open spaces or forests. The does is suitably 0.01W10kg/ha. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
