titleOfInvention Expandable thermoplastic resin particle composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. which can be expanded into a container which prevents fats, water, etc. from oozing toward its surface, by coating the surface of an expandable thermoplastic resin particle contg. a low-boiling hydrocarbon as a blowing agent, with zinc stearate. n CONSTITUTION: The surface of an expandable thermoplastic resin particle contg. 1W10wt% hydrocarbon (e.g. propane), as a blowing agent, having a b.p. lower than the softening point of the resin particle, is coated with 0.2W0.4wt% zinc stearate composed of at least 90% fine particle having an average particle size of 3W8μ, and optionally further with 0.0005W0.01wt% nonionic cellulose ester such as methylcellulose. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
