abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled paint containing a thermoplastic resin prepared by the reaction of two kinds of compounds each represented by specific formula, and giving a coating film having excellent heat resistance, resistant to the crack formation and the lowering of the flexibility, and capable of keeping the hardness to a low level for a long period. n CONSTITUTION: The objective paint can be prepared by polymerizing (A) the compound of formula I (R 1 is H or methyl; R 2 is H or alkyl) (e.g. acrylic acid) with (B) the compound of formula II (R 3 is H or methyl; R 4 is bivalent hydrocarbon group; R 5 is alkyl) (e.g. γ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane, etc.) and/ or the compound of formula III (e.g. vinyltrimethoxysilane) in a solvent in the presence of a catalyst (e.g. azobisisobutyronitrile). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
