| abstract | NEW MATERIAL:4'-Cycloalkyl-propiophenone derivative of formula I (n is 2W5; R is 1W6C alkyl; A is optionally substituted pyrrolidino, piperidino, hexamethyleneimino, heptamethyleneimino). n EXAMPLE: 4'-Cyclopropyl-2-methyl-3-piperidinopropiophenone. n USE: Central muscle relaxant: remedy for spastic paralysis and dolor muscle spasm with locomotorial diseases. It has good pharmaceutical properties and duration. n PREPARATION: The Friedel-Craft reaction is effected using equimolar amounts of a cycloalkylbenzene of formula II and a fatty acid halide of formula III in the presence of more than equimolar amount of anhydrous aluminum chloride at -75W100°C for 0.5W6hr to form 4'-cycloalkylphenone of formula IV, then Mannich reaction is effected with a cyclic amine of formula V in the salt form and paraformaldehyde to give the compound of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
