PURPOSE: To provide a rubber deterioration inhibitor which has an excellent effect of inhibiting the deterioration of rubber by ozone in particular, consisting of a specified dihydroquinoline compd. and a specified p-phenylenediamine compd. n CONSTITUTION: A rubber deterioration inhibitor consists of 6-anilino-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline (A) and an N-phenyl-N'-alkyl-p-phenylenediamine (B) (wherein the alkyl group is a 3W6C non-cyclic alkyl, such as N-phenyl-N'-isopropyl-p-phenylenediamine) in a ratio of A to B of 80:20W20:80. The inhibitor has an excellent effect of preventing rubber from being deteriorated, particularly due to ozone, which conventional ones do not have.
