abstract PURPOSE:To improve the relief forming capacity of a photopolymerizable composition which is cured under active light by combinedly using a specified addition-polymerizable ethylenic monomer and a specified aromatic amino compound. CONSTITUTION:This novel photopolymerizable composition consists of a prepolymer (A), an addition-polymerizable ethylenic monomer (B) having a polycyclic residue consisting of two or more rings each having five or more ring forming atoms bonded to each other with one or more C atoms as common ring forming atoms, a photopolymn. initiator (C), and an aromatic amino compound (D) represented by the formula such as p-(N,N-dimethylamino)benzaldehyde or ethyl p-(N,N-dimethylamino)benzoate. The preferred amount of the aromatic amino compound used is 5wt% of the total amount of the components A, B. In the formula, R1 is 1-5C alkyl, R2 is H or 1-5C alkyl, X1 is H, OH or 1-10C alkoxy, and X2 is H, 1-5C alkyl or 1-5C alkoxy.
