titleOfInvention Emulsion type coating composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition that is composed of a film-forming polymer and a graft polymer of a specific structure, thus being capable of giving the coating surfaces water and oil repellency, staining resistance, etc., and used as a pollution-free coating of a resource saving type. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is obtained by adding a graft polymer with a specific structure containing, in same molecules, a unit derived from a fluorine-containing monomer and/or a unit derived from an organic compound bearing SiO bonds and a unit wich is compatible to the film-forming polymer to the above-stated film-forming polymer. Component B is added in the emulsion polymerization of the film-forming polymer or the solution of component B is absorbed in the film-forming polymer. The amount of component B added is preferably 0.05W5wt% based on the nonvolatile fractions in component A. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
