titleOfInvention Determination of hydrogen peroxide
abstract PURPOSE: A sample containing bilirubin is combined with 4-aminoantipyrine, peroxidase and a specific hydrogen donor and the pigment formed is measured to effect rapid and accurate determination of hydrogen peroxide in the sample. n CONSTITUTION: The sample containing bilirubin is combined with (A) aminoantipyrine, (B) peroxidase and (C) a hydrogen donor of the formula (R 1 is methyl, ethyl, hydroxymethyl, hydroxyethyl, aminoethyl, acetyl; R 2 is hydroxymethyl, hydroxyethyl, aminoethyl, acetylaminomethyl, acetylaminoethyl, acetyl; R 3 is H, methyl, ethyl, methoxy; R 4 is H, methyl; where in case that R 1 is methyl, ethyl, hydroxymethyl, hydroxyethyl and R 2 is hydroxymethyl or hydroxyethyl, when R 3 is H, R 4 also is H and, when R 3 is methyl or ethyl, R 4 is methyl), then they are allowed to react and the pigment formed is determined. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
