titleOfInvention Patterned bubble gum
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled bubble gum giving no unnatural feeling during chewing, by physically distributing water-insoluble color chips compatible with the gum base sporadically in a bubble gum composed of a base such as vinyl acetate resin, a rubber component, a wax component, and an emulsifier. n CONSTITUTION: The objective bubble gum can be prepared by distributing (A) the color chips obtained by compounding a colorant (preferably water-insoluble pigment) with a gum base composition component and if necessary an emulsifier and a filler, without using a kneading process, sporadically in (B) a bubble gum base obtained by compounding (i) a base consisting of a vinyl acetate resin and an ester gum (e.g. refined rosin) with (ii) a rubber component composed of one or more kinds of synthetic rubbers (e.g. polybutene) ro natural rubber, (iii) a wax component (e.g. petroleum mineral wax) and (iv) an emulsifier (e.g. glycerol fatty acid ester) at proper ratios. n EFFECT: The effect to develop the colored pattern can be maintained stably since the color chips have high affinity to the bubble gum base, high resistance to peeling and separation, and low melting tendency in chewing. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
