abstract | PURPOSE: To shorten the time for removing a refrigerator shell and its doors from the molds by adding 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7 or its organic salt as catalyst when hard urethan foam is expanded and hardened. n CONSTITUTION: When urethane foam original liquid is injected in a refrigerator shell and doors to be expanded, if 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7 or its organic salt is added, hardness of urethane foam resin fast in expanding and hardening time and therefore the strength of foam is generated promptly. Accordingly, though expanding pressure is high a piece can be demolded in a short time. Phenol salt, cresol salt, propionic acid salt can be illustrated as organic salt of 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7 which is used.
