titleOfInvention Method of surface treatment of n-alkyl-n'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine particle
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound of hard particles having improved flow properties, smooth particulate surface free from adhesion of fine powder, by making N-alkyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine particles flow freely under specific conditions. n CONSTITUTION: Granulated N-alkyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine particles are put in a rotatable container, the container is rotated at a temperature ≤ the melting point of the diamine, and made to flow freely, to give the aimed particles having particulate surface. A horizontal cylindrical container to rotate around the central shaft is preferable as the rotatable container, and the temperature is preferably at least 4°C lower than the melt temperature. n EFFECT: The particles will not collapse during transportation or in hoppers. They are extremely easily weighed automatically. Complicated sieving operation is not required, and environmental pollution caused by dust can be prevented. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
