titleOfInvention Polyphenylene ether based resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a polyphenylene ether based resin with a low-molecular weight polycarbonate compound and more effectively an inorganic filler, and having excellent molding processability, impact resistance, weather resistance, surface gloss and secondary processability such as coating without deteriorating heat resistance. n CONSTITUTION: A polyphenylene ether based resin composition obtained by incorporating (A) a polyphenylene ether obtained by polycondensation of one or more monocyclic phenols expressed by formula I (R 1 represents 1W3C lower alkyl; R 2 and R 3 each represent H or 1W3C lower alkyl) or a mixture thereof with a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon resin containing ≥25wt% structural units of formula II (R 4 represents H, etc.; Z represents halogen atom, etc.; p represents a positive integer 0W3) with (B) a low-molecular weight polycarbonate having ≤0.3dl/g intrinsic viscosity measured in methylene chloride at 25°C in an amount of 0.3W20wt% based on total resin composition and (C) more effectively, an inorganic filler (example; glass fiber, silica, etc.) in an amount of 70wt% or less based on total resin composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
