titleOfInvention Film wind-up device
abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the tension of a film just before winding with a high degree of accuracy to satisfactorily wind up the film into a film roll, by attaching a touch roller adapted to be rotated by being made into contact with the film roll, to a swingable lever through the intermediary of a swingable lever. CONSTITUTION:Upon wind-up of a film F into a roll, the film is at first wound onto a touch roller 7 by a substantially one-half turn through the intermediary of a guide roller 14 to be wound onto a core 1. As the film is gradually wound up into a roll shape, an arm 3 rotates upward. At this time a hydraulic cylinder 6 is controlled to make the touch roller 7 in contact with the film roll 2 at a substantially fixed position thereon. The swingable base 62 of a tension detector 92 or the iron core 94 of a differential transformer is displaced in accordance with the tension of the film F wound onto the touch roller 7. Further, the tension of the film F is detected in accordance with a signal from the tension detector due to the above-mentioned displacement, and therefore, a winding motor 5 is controlled in accordance with variations in the tension detected, thereby the film is wound up always under a uniform tension.
