titleOfInvention Polyester composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a polyester resin which has improved impact resistance and is freed from the problem of deterioration by dry heat, by blending a glycidyl group-contg. copolymer with a resin composed of an arom. polyester and an arom. polycarbonate. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester compsn. is obtd. by incorporating 1W80pts.wt. glycidyl group-contg. copolymer composed of an α-olefin and a glycidyl ester of an α,β-unsaturated acid in 100pts.wt. resin composed of 95W30wt% arom. polyester and 5W70wt% arom. polycarbonate. Said arom. polycarbonate has a number- average MW of 15,000W80,000 and the quantity of the copolymerized glycidyl ester in the glycidyl group-contg. copolymer is 0.5W40wt%. The glycidyl group- contg. copolymer has a melt index of 0.1W100. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
