titleOfInvention Modified polyethylene terephthalate injection molding material
abstract PURPOSE: The titled material excellent in moldability through a low-temperature die and long-term heat stability, comprising a polyethylene terephthalate having a specified content of diethylene glycol and a specified temperature of crystallization by heating Tc (H). n CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene terephthalate (A) is obtained by polycondensing, after direct esterification or transesterification, a dicarboxylic acid (esterifiable derivative) component comprising at least 90mol% terephthalic acid and 0W 10mol% 6W14C aromatic dicarboxylic acid, etc., with a diol (esterifiable derivative) component comprising at least 90mol% ethylene glycol and 0W10mol% 3W 10C aliphatic diol, etc., in such amounts that the diethylene glycol content may be 1.2mol% or below. Component A is mixed with 0.1W40wt% (B) crystallization accelerator (e.g., polyethylene glycol monotrimellitate sodium salt) and (C), optionally, an inorganic filler to obtain the titled injection molding material having a temperature of crystallization by heating Tc (H) ≤120°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
