titleOfInvention | Dispersant for pitch in water |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the titled dispersant consisting of a water-soluble vinyl polymer having specified hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups in the side chain, which produces a low-viscosity slurry, prevents settling of pitch particles and has excellent transport, storage and spray burning properties. n CONSTITUTION: The dispersant consists of a water-soluble vinyl compd. having at least one hydrophilic group selected from among polyether chain, salt of sulfuric ester, sulfate and carboxylate and at least one hydrophobic group selected from among hydrocarbon group and heterocyclic group, in the side chain. For preparation of pitch compsn., crushed pitch is mixed into an aqueous soln. or dispersion of the dispersant, followed by treatment for pulverization. The pitch compsn. should pref. have a pitch content of 70W80wt%. The dispersant is used pref. in an amt. of about 0.2W1pt.wt. per 100pts.wt. pitch. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
