titleOfInvention Method for detecting cancer disease
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the exact result of examination of a cancer disease by considering the parameter based on the (g) value indicated by the spectra of the radicals of the lymphocytes acted with hematoporphyrin or the deriv. thereof in conjunction with a radical quantity. CONSTITUTION:An ESR measurement is made with the lymphocytes of a normal healthy patient and a cancer patient, etc. by using a hematoporphyrin deriv. and the area of the signal from the resultant ESR spectra is determined, by which a radical quantity S is determined and the position where a peak appears, i.e., a (g) value is determined. The result shown in the figure is thus obtd. The entire specimen shown in the figure is plotted by taking the (g) value at the axis of abscissa and the radical amt. S at the axis of ordinate and the result shown in the figure is obtd. The data are two-dimensionally spread according to the (g) value and the radical quantity S as is evident from the figure and therefore decision of whether a cancer or not is made posible with good accuracy by drawing the boundary line indicated by the two parameters as shown by, for example, a broken line II and to which side of the line the measuring data positions.
