titleOfInvention | Preparation of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid hydrazide |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound suitable as a polymerizable monomer useful for a composition such as a high polymer surface active agent, an anticoagulant, etc. easily and inexpensively in high yield, by subjecting a vinyl monomer and hydrazine to contact reaction. n CONSTITUTION: A widely used vinyl monomer such as 1W22C alkyl acrylate, alkyl methacrylate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, etc. is reacted with hydrazine hydrate in the absence of a catalyst at room temperature in air, to give the desired substance. About 100ppm polymerization inhibitor such as hydroquinone, etc. may be preferably added to the reaction to prevent polymerization. ≤1mol, preferably 0.5W0.9mol hydrazine hydrate is used based on 1mol vinyl monomer. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
