titleOfInvention Urine-alkalizing composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition that contains citric acid, sodium citrate and potassium chloride in a specific proportion, thus being free from deliquescence without causing imbalance of Na + /K + in blood and used as a remedy for hyperuricacidemia in hypertension. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is obtained by allowing a mixture of citric acid, sodium citrate and potassium chloide in a proportion of x:y:z (in moles) to be included by 80W100wt% concentration where x, y and z are in ranges of 0.4≤x≤1.4, 1.2≤y≤4.0 and 1.0≤z≤12.0, respectively. Especially, the composition where 0.8≤x≤1.1, 1.8≤y≤2.2 and 2.8≤z≤3.2 is preferred. The composition improves its deliquescence and alkalize the urine without causing imbalance in Na + /K + to increase the solubility of uric acid. It also increases the excretion of uric acid and urinary amount. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
