NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [R 1 is OH, OR 4 , SR 4 , SOR 4 (R 4 is 1W3C alkyl); R 2 , R 3 are H, 1W3C alkyl; Ar is pyridyl or phenyl which may be substituted with halogen; X is -C(=O)-, -C(OH)H-; n is 3, 4, 5] and its acid adduct. n EXAMPLE: 5-{5-[4-( 2-Methoxyphenyl )-1-piperazinyl]valeryl}-2-methoxybenzenesulfoneamide dihydrochloride n USE: Hypotensor: it shows satisfactory hypotensive action only with administration of 1W3mg/kg and develops the action promptly with long duration. Further, the low acute toxicity suggests its high safety. n PREPARATION: The reaction of an ω-halogenoalkanoylbenzene of formula II(X is halogen) with a piperazine of formula III gives the compound of formula I . n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
