NEW MATERIAL:An aminobenzoic acid derivative of formula I (M is H, lower alkyl, organic base, alkali metal, alkaline earth metal; X is H, halogen). n EXAMPLE: 3-(4-Methoxycarbonylphenyl)amino-4,5-benzisothiazole-1,1-dioxide. n USE: Hypolipemic: it prevents arteriosclerotic disorder, inhibits aggravation of arteriosclerosis and improves it. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of a compound of formula II (R is lower alkyl) with another compound of formula III (Y is halogen) in the presence of a base in an inact solvent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
