PURPOSE:To enhance photosensitivity, printing resistance, etc., by incorporating in a photosensitive layer a photosensitive resin derived from a polyester precursor having photosensitive unsatd. double bonds adjacent to aromatic rings, carboxylic groups, and hydroxyl groups. CONSTITUTION:A polyester precursor having photosensitive unsatd. double bonds adjacent to aromatic rings, carboxylic groups, and hydroxyl groups is prepared by using a polycarboxylic acid component contg. dicarboxylic acid having photosensitive unsatd. double bonds, such as p-phenylene-diacrylic acid, and a polyol component, sucha as diethylene glycol. This precursor is reacted with a compd., such as 4,4-diphenylmethanediisocyanate, having >=2 functional groups capable of reacting with hydroxyl groups. The image forming material stated in the title is obtained by incorporating the obtained photosensitive resin in the photosensitive layer. |
