abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition consisting of pigments of titanium dioxide, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide and black iron oxide and given amounts of specific talc, kaolin, mica, titanium mica and a nonpolar oily material, sorbitan oleate, maltitol and water. n CONSTITUTION: A water-in-oil type emulsified foundation composition consisting of preferably 20W70wt%, based on the composition, vaseline or paraffin, preferably 0.1W10wt%, based on the composition, sorbitan oleate, e.g. sorbitan monooleate, preferably 2W25wt%, based on the composition, maltitol, preferably 2W 40wt%, based on the composition, water and 30W60wt%, based on the composition, pigments. The above-mentioned pigments consist of 5W25wt% at least one of talc, kaolin, mica and titanium mica having ≤30mg equivalents / 100g cation exchange capacity and titanium dioxide, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide and black iron oxide. n EFFECT: Suitable for compact type, stable, and having improved adhesion to the skin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
