abstract PURPOSE: To bring easily and securely the needle of a probe into contact with electrodes of a circuit board by positioning probing needles through the guide hole and escape hole of a lead plate. n CONSTITUTION: The guide needle 1 of the probe is run through the guide hole 5 of the lead plate 8 made of a transparent acrylic plate 7 which is positioned at electrodes 10 of a ceramic substrate 9 with the guide hole 5, etc., and is also provided with the escape hole 6, and probing needles 2 are run through the hole 6 to position the needles 2 easily and accurately.
