NEW MATERIAL:A β-rat atrial natriuretic polypeptide (β-rANP) shown by the formula (1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 5 and 6 are directly bonded). n USE: A diuretic. n PREPARATION: For example, an atrial tissue of rat is boiled in 1M acetic acid to deactivate protease existing in it, and it is homogenized by POLYTRON mixer, and extracted. The extracted solution is centrifuged, the supernatant liquid is separated, subjected to ultrafiltration so that it is concentrated and desalted to give a concentrated solution. Acetone, etc. is added to the solution, the prepared precipitate is removed, the supernatant liquid is concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure, the residue is dissolved in 1M acetic acid, the solution is subjected to gel filtration, and the eluate is lyophilized. It is then dissolved in 1M acetic acid, subjected to gel filtration, and an eluation fraction having relaxing activity against a specimen of chick rectum muscle is subjected to high-speed liquid chromatography of cation exchange and purified to give β- rANP shown by the formula. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
