abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain secure separation of a tin structure and thick one by calculating eight types of width of an extracted picture passing through a pixcel in eight directions, by separating a structure having its minimum value superior to the prescribed value from other structures and by correcting the classification. CONSTITUTION:Only a picture to be analyzed is extracted out of pictures displayed on a picture display mechanism 1 by an extraction mechanism 2. Here, only a picture of a calcium ferrite is extracted. The extracted picture is separated into respective pixcels composing the picture by a separating mechanism 3 and the width of the picture passing through the pixcel in eight directions is calculated. In case of the pixcel, the minimum width is four pixcels. Thereupon the picture is separated into the pixcel having larger width than that for separating a columner calcium ferrite and an acicular calcium ferrite and the pixcel having the width smaller than said reference width. Then the picture is separated into an area of every coupled component by area classfication mechanisms 4 and 4', and a boundary of each area is extracted by boundary extraction mechanisms 5 and 5'. When the proportion of a boundary that a thin structure is adjacent to a thick one is preset, it is corrected by correction mechanism 6 and 6'. |
