abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen detector, by a composition containing a mixture of 4-methoxy-4'-aminodiphenylamine hydrochloride and a reducing agent. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen detector is constituted of a composition containing a mixture of 4-methoxy-4'-aminodiphenylamine hydrochloride and a reducing agent and this composition is printed to a base material or deposited to or infiltrated into said base material by coating. Thus prepared oxygen detector is sealed in a packing bag or container and put to practical use as one changing a color by the change in oxygen partial pressure.
