titleOfInvention | Stabilization of alkanolamine derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To stabilize the titled compound useful as a monomer of a photo-sensitive resin, etc., easily, in high quality, without lowering the polymerization reactivity nor causing the degradation in storage, by dissolving a specific alkanolamine derivative together with a polymerization inhibitor in a ketone solvent. n CONSTITUTION: An alkanolamine derivative of formula [R 1 is -H or -CH 3 ; R 2 is -H, -CH 3 or -(CH 2 CH 2 O) n H (n is 1W4)] is stabilized by dissolving in a ketone solvent (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone) together with a polymerization inhibitor. The concrete example of the compound of formula is 3-di(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-2- hydroxypropyl acrylate, and the polymerization inhibitor is e.g. t-butylcatechol, etc. The amount of the polymerization inhibitor is preferably 1,000W4,000ppm based on the compound of formula. The titled compound can be maintained in high stability, without causing the deterioration even under severe conditions, and nevertheless, is polymerizable by conventional polymerization method. The objective product can be extremely easily without inhibition of the polymerization reaction. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
